St Paul’s Cathedral

Given the grand nature of a Cathedral wedding, this ceremony in the OBE Chapel of St Paul’s Cathedral was a lovely, relaxed affair. The couple walked with their friends and family down the steps of the Cathedral and across the square through Temple Bar, the historic gateway of the City of London to the Paternoster Chop House. Here they enjoyed a drinks reception outside in the sunshine in the pretty Paternoster Square, followed by a delicious wedding lunch in the restaurant.

Apart from a handful of tourists and of course the ubiquitous pigeons, the heart of London is very quiet on weekends and the couple had the opportunity to have some of their wedding photographs taken inside the Cathedral  as well as walking together across the Millennium Bridge.
