Chiswick House

Built by Lord Burlington with the architect and garden designer William Kent in the Eighteenth Century,  Chiswick House is a Palladian villa and makes a lovely country house wedding venue close to central London.

Chiswick House holds a wedding licence but some of our clients choose to marry elsewhere. This couple, married at St John’s Hampstead in North London. Arriving at Chiswick in the early evening, they had a lovely drinks reception on the lawns and in the Italianate gardens in the golden light, followed by a Wedding Breakfast and dancing in the marquee. Wedding couples do have access to the beautiful Chiswick House interiors for their photographs but these two preferred to have more informal shots of themselves, walking away from the house along the paths that link the gardens. Chiswick House creates a lovely backdrop and lends itself to classically simple wedding images.
