Skinners’ Hall
Dating from 1670, Skinners’ Hall is a Grade I-listed building with a history that’s as rich as its interiors. Home to one of the City’s ‘great 12’ livery companies, it combines a versatile layout of stately halls, elegant chambers and homelier rooms with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Our clients held their winter wedding reception party at this prestigious venue in the heart of the City of London. Skinners’ Hall is the home of The Worshipful Company of Skinners at the delightful address of 8 1/2 Dowgate Hill in London EC4.
After the wedding ceremony at St Bride’s, guests arrived at Skinners Hall and entered through the ceremonial gates and a paved courtyard before heading to the Old Court Room for the wedding drinks reception. The speeches were made during the drinks reception and then guests were invited into the Great Hall for dinner. The Roof Garden, a tranquil space surrounding a fountain, suits summer wedding parties best, but we found it useful for a few informal group photographs as the weather was mild for this winter wedding in the centre of London. The Outer Hall, with its roaring real wood fire, was really welcoming and was a great space for dancing late on into the night.
Whatever the setting for your London wedding, be it great or small, our aim is to create beautiful, natural photographic images that convey the genuine emotion of the day with authenticity and fun. Our style could be described as understated elegance with a dash of the wild!
