St Peter’s Church Eaton Square
This lovely early summer wedding ceremony at St Peter’s Church Eaton Square, in the heart of Belgravia was a joy to photograph from beginning to end.
The bridesmaids wore flattering, empire line pale pink chiffon dresses and like real American beauties, looked as though they’d just stepped out of the pages of Martha Stewart’s Weddings. Each of the five bridesmaids carried a delicate hand tied bouquet of pale pink and white early summer roses. The late afternoon light softened, and transformed the sandstone portico of this pretty church of St Peter’s, Eaton Square into the perfect stage for naturally lit group photos, with just the right amount of shade to produce really flattering photographic results.
The couple were very relaxed and happy and after the ceremony walked through the leafy London square before hopping into a ‘Just Married’ black cab to be whisked off to their reception at Il Bottaccio close to Hyde Park corner. Each of the guests was issued with a beautifully detailed pen and ink map so they could walk to the Thomas Cubitt on Elizabeth Street for a celebratory drink en route and then onto reception venue in the afternoon sunshine. The soft pale pink and white colour palette of the interior scheme at the wedding reception venue was equally well conceived and was lit by candles throughout to produce a romantic evening setting.
