Combe Manor Berkshire & Andover Hampshire
The bridal party got ready in the pretty bridal bedroom at Combe Manor, near Hungerford, Berkshire, and the couple were married in the courtyard of barns adjoining the house. After exiting the wedding service through a splendid guard of honour, our couple left for the reception which was held under traditional canvas in a wonderful sperry tent supplied by Papkata, set up in the garden of the bride’s family home in Hook, Hampshire.
The colour theme was soft yellow, whites and creams throughout and fresh flowers and long table runners covered the trestle tables in this lovely marquee, while decorative hearts and signs and candle and flower holders were handcrafted by the groom, not to mention the bespoke bar cleverly constructed out of wooden pallets and an entertaining photo-booth swing. Catering was by McCrimmon and Reid and the band was called The Sessions. This quintessential English country wedding is featured in RockMyWedding.
“Nick at Wild Weddings was our wonderful photographer. I’d already seen him at a few friends’ weddings, so I already knew how good he was. Nick blended in and captured all the emotions and happiness of the day in such a natural way. The whole process from visiting Nick and Bella at their farm for our ‘engagement shots’ up until the wedding was a dream.”
