Chiddingstone, Kent

We first met our couple at the very well organised Chiddingstone Castle Wedding Fair which is one of the few wedding fairs we like  to do every year in early spring, alongside other favourite suppliers, such as Florist in the Forest and Kalm Kitchens. The couple planned their wedding service at St Mary the Virgin in Chiddingstone, Kent and afterwards travelled in an open-top Morgan to the bride’s parents home for a lovely informal country marquee wedding in the garden.

It was the most beautiful June day and the bride’s parents had created the most lovely self-sown wild flower meadow of ox-eye daisies, cornflowers and poppies for the guests to walk through to the Camelot marquee. Bridesmaids, dogs, puppies and even the bride’s horse featured in the informal family  photographs. The day was notable for the family’s great sense of colour and style and the warmth and affection for the couple and good humour, which we’ve tried to capture in the images in our inimitable style.
