The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy

The Savoy Chapel or The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy is a private royal chapel of Her Majesty The Queen, hidden away down a quiet backstreet between The Strand and the Embankment and sits on the East side of the Savoy Hotel. We were delighted to be asked to photograph a very elegant London wedding there. The bride got ready in her rooms at Claridge’s and was whisked across central London in a vintage Rolls Royce accompanied by her three bridesmaids for the wedding ceremony. The chapel is small but flooded with natural light. It also has a very pretty landscaped garden which was the perfect setting for some more formal group shots the couple requested. The bride’s bouquet and bridesmaids flowers were created by McQueens.

We then accompanied our clients back to Claridge’s for their very beautiful wedding reception and naturally many more photographs.

Wherever you are marrying we dress appropriately to blend in with your guests, and shoot fresh, natural, unposed images quickly and quietly. We will not drag you away from the party for hours of posed photos, and work hard to make effortless looking imagery that truly reflects the happiness and good feeling of your day.
