For many years we maintained a small office on Knightsbridge Green, and the Serpentine and The Lido Cafe in Hyde Park were regular haunts for this off duty Knightsbridge wedding photographer.

Thus it was a delight to be asked to photograph this wedding reception at the Lido Cafe & Bar one late Summer afternoon. Following a service in Westminster we arrived with the bride and groom by red London Routemaster bus, and as the guests enjoyed drinks we walked beside the water and made a few simple portraits of the couple and their family. In the balmy evening air we listened to speeches and toasts to our happy couple, and later as the dusk light fell, caught the light from the wedding party reflected in the still waters of The Serpentine.
