The pretty church of St Michaels and All Angels which is in the village of Great Badminton and is the estate church just next door to Badminton House in Gloucestershire, was the setting for  our couple’s wedding celebration here in early May. The bride is an interior designer and the groom a writer/historian and the bride’s visual flair and attention to detail was much in evidence. The style was relaxed, country and the natural hand-tied bunches carried by the little flower girls and the maids of honour in their cream silk chiffon dresses were so pretty. The ushers carried tall vases of cow parsley from the church back to the reception marquee in a friend’s garden, and the wedding cake was decorated with summer fruits, sweet peas and roses in a vibrant pink, red and white colour palette.
