Mayfair Library and The Connaught Hotel
Our clients got ready for their wedding ceremony in the elegant and nearby surroundings of one of London’s most lovely hotels, The Connaught and walked together through leafy Mount Street Square Gardens to the library on South Audley Street. On the first floor of the Mayfair Library are the Westminster Register Office marriage ceremony rooms. It was a lovely intimate affair for the couple’s immediate family and friends, and after the civil service we stopped at a traditional Mayfair pub for much needed refreshment. This was followed by dinner and speeches in one of the Connaught’s prettiest rooms, The Regency Room, and then evening shots of the elegant couple outside the Tadao Ando sculptural water feature ‘Silence’ in the golden glow of dusk.
We always seem to enjoy our photoshoots at The Connaught, and find that the hotel staff treat us as well as they treat the other wedding guests, which is always a sure sign of good service.
