Kensington and Chelsea Register Office
We’ve photographed lots of the smaller civil ceremonies in winter, spring, summer and autumn at Chelsea Register Office in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. After the ceremony, everyone comes out onto the famous flight of stone steps on to the Kings Road to much congratulating and confetti throwing.
Many couples like to walk with the wedding party to a favourite local restaurant or cafe, such as Toms Kitchen, Chelsea, Beaufort House, The Chelsea Farmers Market, or The Bumpkin in South Kensington, or even the Lido Cafe in Hyde Park for a deliciously relaxed lunch party that goes on long into the afternoon and evening.
