Nick and Bella
Being highly recommended by our lovely wedding couples and their family and friends who were at a wedding is really important. Word of mouth is everything. Hopefully this little bit ‘About Us’ will give you a reassuring idea of the values and aesthetic that we aspire to. On the wedding day, either Nick or I will arrive dressed to blend in with your family and guests. We usually work at different events but what we both do really well is observe you as a couple, and capture you all at just the right moment to produce really flattering images. Guests and clients comment on our charming, unobtrusive and professional manner. We work hard to make it all appear effortless and relaxed.
Please do CONTACT US if this is the kind of London or Country wedding photography that you’d like to commission. We’d love to hear from you.
NICK’S background is as a commercial London photographer in the design and advertising industry but he’s always had a love affair with nature and the land and grew up fishing the streams and roaming the fields of rural Kent.
BELLA grew up in south-west London and then worked in non-fiction publishing producing highly illustrated books on interiors, gardening and natural history.
When we married in 2002, our central London wedding was featured in Paula Pryke’s book ‘Wedding Flowers‘ and together we brought our creative energy and enthusiasm for beautiful London and Country weddings to Wild Weddings photography. From our ever-increasing knowledge and experience of the elements that make a wedding fabulous and unforgettable, we have photographed and written ‘Vintage Wedding Style‘ an inspirational sourcebook of ideas. This is now available to DOWNLOAD AS A FREE EBOOK.
In 2005, we moved to Walnuts Farm, and together set about creating the ‘rustic shoot location house’ for the film and photographic industries and for clients which included: L’Oreal, John Lewis, Jigsaw, Joules, Great Little Trading Company, Neal’s Yard, Net A Porter, Sony, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Gardens Illustrated, Homes and Gardens, Glamour and Port magazines. Our family lifestyle has been featured in Country Living magazine throughout 2014 and 2015 and since then we have written and photographed ‘The New Homesteader‘ book, published by Ryland, Peters and Small in our own visual style. We continue to photograph all the most lovely town and country weddings for our aspirational but natural wedding photography brand WildWeddings.co.uk.
When not in London, we now live overlooking the sea on the Dorset – Devon border. We love to welcome our clients to our new home for an informal brunch and to talk in more detail about their wedding photographs. We offer all those adventurous fellows a photo shoot on The Cobb and a chance to get to know us a bit better before the day.
