“We still get many comments on what a wonderful photographer Nick was to have at the wedding!” Gemma
The chaps held their ushers lunch at The Earl of March in Lavant, near Chichester, and despite the organisational spread sheet provided by Michael…

…after a few convivial drinks – a sprint to the church was required.

Meanwhile all was calm at the bride’s mother’s house.

ww

Gemma arrived at St Mary’s Church, East Lavant wearing a dress from The Vintage Wedding Dress Company.

ww

ww

Gemma’s hairpiece was from Glitzy Secrets.

ww

Gemma and Michael left together by car for Farbridge Barn at West Dean, near Chichester.

Tealight lanterns hanging from mistletoe strewn Winter twigs decorated the tables.

A sparse twig motif was continued on the menus.

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

Guests held aloft the table names to assist others to find their places. Favourite ski resorts extended the Winter theme.

ww

ww

Guests adapted the mistletoe table arrangements to their own needs…

“I just wanted to say a really big thank you for the beautiful wedding photographs- we absolutely love them! You captured the feeling of the day perfectly and it will certainly be a day we’ll remember with all that snow! My 98 year old Grandma particularly likes the photo of us both and she doesn’t normally like having her picture taken. It’s now in a big frame in pride of place on her mantle piece! It’s a photo that I will also treasure. I am so grateful that you braved the snow that day to take our pictures. It was amazing the lengths that everyone went to that day to make our wedding so special – thank you! Quite a few of our friends have got engaged over Christmas and you are top of my list of recommendations!“ Claire & Ben Smith

Claire and Ben were married in Rye amidst deep snow. On the morning of the wedding the ushers valiantly cleared snow along the route that Claire and her father were to take to the Town Hall…

ww

Ben gallantly carried his bride’s snow boots from the ceremony.

ww

ww

After the service the whole party walked through falling snow…

ww

…to The George in Rye.

ww

ww

Rex, the Town Crier joined the party for a warming mug of mulled wine…

…and added to the contrasting footwear on display.

“The pictures are really lovely, everyone loves them, thanks a lot for your effort.” Tomasz and Patricia

Patricia and Tomasz were married just before Christmas one crisp Winter morning at the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office on The King’s Road.

ww

ww

After the service the couple travelled by taxi to Battersea Park to enjoy the Winter sunshine…

ww

ww

…and then walked back across Chelsea Bridge.

ww

ww

ww

…before getting another taxi…

…to the Bumpkin restaurant in South Kensington…

ww

…where they rejoined their guests.

ww

ww

ww

The international crowd included family and friends from Poland, Germany and Brazil, as well as London, (together with a former Miss Universe)…

…and the party enjoyed eating, afternoon salsa…

and were refreshed throughout by long cool cocktails.

“Both Ken and I are thrilled with the book thanks! The images are really gorgeous, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 100th viewing! Funny thing is that friends have sent us some photos these last weeks and I was feeling very smug as I loved how I looked in all of Nick’s photos and it came as a bit of a shock that others photos captured me in not such a fab light – it reinforced how happy Ken and I are that Nick took the photos! Many thanks.” Helen
Helen walked from her Notting Hill flat to church along Kensington Park Road. She wore a dress by Morgan Davies London, in a vintage style reminiscent of the 1950′s.

It was a Calais lace strapless dress with a contrasting stretch lace overtop jacket buttoned at the back.

ww

During the service the congregation was entertained by gospel singers from St. Patrick’s Church in Soho.

After the service Helen and Ken walked in the glorious winter sun down Kensington Park Road…

…to Ladbroke Square Gardens for some informal photos. Flowers were by Scarlet and Violet in Queen’s Park, and were specifically chosen to complement Helen’s yellow sapphire engagement ring by Diamond Rocks of Hatton Garden, (who also supplied the platinum wedding bands).

Helen’s hair was by Sharleen Thumwood, and makeup by Fiona from FT Makeup London. She wore bespoke bridal shoes by Emmy, and made her own fabulous veil.

ww

Ken chose a bespoke suit by Charlie Allen.

ww

They made their way to No 11 Cadogan Gardens – the private members club and hotel, for the wedding reception.

The mansions and carriage houses known as No.11 London, were built in the late 19th Century by Lord Chelsea, on a cricket ground situated between Buckingham Palace and Harrods in Knightsbridge.

“Wow, what can we say! The photos are amazing, you have pictured the day exactly how we remember, they truly are beautiful. Thank you Nick so much, you were a pleasure to have as our photographer, and it was obvious that you love what you do. It’s going to be incredibly tricky finding the right one to frame!” Love Joanne and Jonathan.

The floral colour theme was blue and white and here scented hyacinths designed by Wendy Andrade decorate the mantelpiece.

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

Joanne’s elegantly simple wedding dress was designed by Augusta Jones.

ww

ww

ww

Tea was served in ‘Mr and Mrs’ stripey mugs, handmade by the bride.

The dining tables were named after fish that Joanne and Jonathan had caught on fishing holidays. Each illustration was lovingly drawn by Joanne.

“Thank you. WE LOVE THEM! They are absolutely fantastic.” Chloe
“Hi Nick, just to say that I did absolutely no work today, I spent almost all the time looking through the photos. I think I looked at each one about 5 times; they are just brilliant. You completely captured the day as well as getting great photos of all our family for the albums. Thank you!” Jon
“I second that. The photos that you took are absolutely stunning and everyone who has seen them has commented on how brilliant they are. Not only did you completely capture the spirit of our wedding, you went totally above and beyond the call of duty by leaving a day early in the snow to get to us and staying all night at the wedding – we really appreciate it. I would (and indeed have done) heartily recommend you to anyone …and if anyone would like a direct reference, put them in touch with us. Best wishes,” Chloe
