Miss Gemma Priscott and Mr Michael Goatly – wedding photography at St Mary’s Church, East Lavant, and Farbridge Barn, West Dean, Chichester, West Sussex

2012.12.13

“We still get many comments on what a wonderful photographer Nick was to have at the wedding!” Gemma

The chaps held their ushers lunch at The Earl of March in Lavant, near Chichester, and despite the organisational spread sheet provided by Michael…

…after a few convivial drinks – a sprint to the church was required.

Meanwhile all was calm at the bride’s mother’s house.

ww

Gemma arrived at St Mary’s Church, East Lavant wearing a dress from The Vintage Wedding Dress Company.

ww

ww

Gemma’s hairpiece was from Glitzy Secrets.

ww

Gemma and Michael left together by car for Farbridge Barn at West Dean, near Chichester.

Tealight lanterns hanging from mistletoe strewn Winter twigs decorated the tables.

A sparse twig motif was continued on the menus.

Guests held aloft the table names to assist others to find their places. Favourite ski resorts extended the Winter theme.

Guests adapted the mistletoe table arrangements to their own needs…

Miss Amelia Heath and Mr Paul Duncan – wedding photography at Saint Eata’s, and the Mytton and Mermaid, Atcham, Shrewsbury, Shropshire

2011.08.18

Amelia got ready for her marriage at a hotel adjacent the Church of St Eata’s overlooking the River Severn.

ww

She and her father together with the bridal party walked past bunting…

…to the nearby church.

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

ww

Amelia and Paul walked down past the river to their reception…

…which was held at The Mytton and Mermaid Hotel. They chose a ‘village fete’ theme…

…and country flowers…

ww

…a vintage tea party…

…lots of bunting and a coconut shy…

…plus ‘splat the rat’, ‘goldfish’ prizes…

…a closely fought ‘count the sweets in the jar’ competition, and hoopla…

Dinner was held inside the hotel…

…and thoroughly enjoyed.

One table elected to eat pudding without cutlery – rather elegantly…

Afterwards a ‘knobbly knees’ competition was held…

…amid accusations of cosmetic enhancement.

ww

ww

Prizes were awarded…

and goldfish ‘shots’ enjoyed…

…before the serious business began…

Miss Hatty Newhouse and Mr Rupert Barthorp – wedding photography at Northleach, Gloucestershire

2011.01.01

“Wahoo they’ve arrived! THANK YOU (both of you) for taking & editing SO MANY beautiful pic’s. Funny, beautiful, quirky – just what we wanted! …I wanted to say a whopping thank you for the stunning pic’s you sent through. …there are a ridiculous number of absolutely gorgeous pictures, thank you so much for taking and editing the vast number that you did. I’ve done next to no work over the last two days as I keep re-browsing them…..terrible! Nick it was a great pleasure to work with you, and Bella thank you for all your hard ‘post production’ work behind the scenes. We shall continue to sing your praises and hopefully, when we load them onto our website and circulate to friends, some of the remaining engaged couples will be suitably wowed that you managed to make us look so good and you’ll rustle up some more dates for the dairy. Best of luck with bookings this year – a truly wonderful job! Merci mille fois” Hatty & Rup

Hatty and Rupert were married in the heart of the Cotswolds at the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Northleach.

ww

Rupert hired a vintage Panther motorbike and sidecar to whisk Hatty to the reception in vintage style.

ww

ww

Hatty wore a 1920′s vintage dress sourced by Cara of Cocoa Designs in Cheltenham.

ww

We like our group shots to be relaxed, informal and pain-free.

Hatty’s ring is a copy of a 1911 Tiffany’s ring by Simon Lewis of  The Diamond Shop in Hatton Gardens.

ww

They set up a tipi in the grounds of Blanche House at Turkdean in the Cotswolds.
