Miss Kim Bromley and Mr Oliver Cooper – wedding photography at St Mary’s Church, Dodford and and Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire

2012.06.15

Kim prepared for her wedding at Hunt House Quarters at Kilsby, near Rugby in Warwickshire. She wore a classic strapless dress with lace and satin bodice, full skirt and lace trimmed train, and wore her hair up in a pretty chignon style.

Her silver shoes were matched by a glamorous clutch bag.

Of course everyone hopes for fine weather on their wedding day, but the ever present rain added a pearl like sheen to the paintwork of Kim’s midnight blue Mark II Jaguar…

After a delightful service at St Mary’s Church, Dodford, Oliver wearing classic morning dress escorts his bride…

…and was fully prepared for the day with quantities of white umbrellas.

Flying their colours they set off together….

…arriving after a short drive at Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire where they were to hold their wedding reception.

They chose the venue for its laid back relaxed country atmosphere, which suited their style. Here a balloon release is leant a quirky air by a curious juxtaposition.

Some chaps struggled with their brollies in the breeze, whilst the more relaxed let the lady take the strain…

Kim and Oliver employed delightful bunting made from old maps to decorate the venue, and a Robert Ryan papercut held centre stage.

Amongst the guests were Mr and Mrs Andrew Barker whose Winter wedding at Kelmarsh Hall also features a cameo appearance from Oliver and Kim.

After dinner our bride and groom danced to an eclectic soul funk set by The Lowriders.

Meanwhile, a photobooth complete with dressing up box entertained the guests…

…and in our opinion no party is complete without a glamorous pirate…

…and plenty of dramatic dancing.

Miss Susie Bourne and Mr Tom Kinsella – wedding photography at Cripps Barn, Bibury, Cirencester

2012.06.01

“Tom and I have just looked through our amazing pictures and feel like we have just lived through the day all over again! Thank you so much for capturing our wedding so perfectly, you were a delight to have around and we have so many incredible photos to remind us of what a special day it was, tornado, thunder claps and all!  Thanks again Nick, we will definitely recommend you… With very warm wishes, Mr and Mrs Kinsella x”

Susie started the day at Barnsley House in Gloucestershire, where she got ready with her family and bridesmaids in a room in the hotel grounds, surrounded by its famous gardens.

A classic navy blue Jaguar motor car was waiting to whisk Susie from Barnsley House, the short distance to her wedding at Cripps Barn.

Despite the rain, Susie and her bridesmaids radiated warmth and happiness, and she carried the most beautiful flowers…

She was escorted by her father.

Tom’s business is in oak framing and he was particularly keen on the construction of the outside structures, and new built Oak Room at Cripps Barn. Pleached trees line a track alongside the barn.

Inside, a wall of the original stone barn bears gaffito from the Eighteenth Century.

Tom waited in the old barn by a huge open fire, decked with ivy and large jars of country flowers.

Susie, preceded by her bridesmaids who wore mismatching dresses in navy, entered with her father and wore an ivory dress by Suzanne Neville, and silver sling backs by Jimmy Choo.

ww

After the service the happy couple walked together through their congregation…

…as rose confetti petals were strewn across the barn floor.

Outside lanterns were hung in the surrounding trees…

…and a stylised tree provided the background for the table plan.

The radiant couple walk into their reception in the Oak Room…

ww

Tom had his navy blue three piece chalk stripe suit made to consciously echo his father’s own 1970′s wedding suit, which Tom had worn when he first met Susie at a mutual friend’s wedding.

Their cake contained chocolate and fruit layers, with navy blue ribbons continuing the colour theme.

ww

Outside, the lanterns and fire pit were lit…

…whilst inside the dancing commenced.

ww

Late in the night the fire and lights of the party glowed in the storm clouded sky.

Electric fairy lights illuminated the potted birch trees outside…

…as well as those surrounding the dance floor inside the barn.
