…and walked the short distance to Il Bottaccio on Grosvenor Place, London SW1 to greet their guests.

It has a wonderful staircase for walking up… and for walking down…

…and big mirrors to see and be seen in.

Rose petals, candles and peonies decorated the stairs and mantle shelves.

The tables were decorated with postcards from some of the couple’s favourite destinations.

She wore a striking raspberry pink Vivienne Westwood dress.

Sally carried a wedding bouquet of dark purple arum lillies by top London florist McQueens

The tables at the wedding reception were decorated with simple glass vases of arum lilies by McQueens to carry on the theme of the bridal bouquet, while the delicious chocolate wedding cake was created by Patisserie Valerie
