Miss Alice Greenwood and Mr Matthew Ketley – wedding photography at St John The Baptist Church, Penshurst and Penshurst Place, Kent2013.02.18
“…You’ve given us so many wonderful photos, not just of us, but also our family, friends and the beautiful surroundings. I cannot tell you how grateful and impressed we are, they are perfect and I know we’ll relive the day many times over looking through the photos again and again! We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, friendly, laid back and talented photographer, thank you so very much. You charmed many of the guests too, they all loved meeting you and commented on how fun and amazingly unobtrusive you were. Yet to have managed to have captured everything is quite a skill! Thank you thank you thank you! Now to try and narrow down to 160 photos for the book… No idea how! …Thank you again for all your hard work. We are very grateful.” Matt and Alice
Alice and Matt were married at St John The Baptist Church, and held their reception at Penshurst Place.
Their guests met up at the nearby Leicester Arms for lunch and refreshment.
Alice arrived by car, having got ready at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells.

Miss Jennie Coker and Mr Ian Bishop – wedding photography at Holcot, Northamptonshire2012.09.25
“We received your beautifully wrapped DVD today and we are totally thrilled with the photos!!! Thanks so much for doing such an asolutely wonderful job of capturing all parts (of) our day exactly as we remember them (and other bits that we missed or forgot!!)! We are completely blown away by how many fantastic ones there are of all of our friends and family and (it is) so great to have colour and black and white options for all – our house may become a wedding shrine if we’re not careful!!! We are so glad you were able to be our photographer - you have been so brilliant, even down to putting up with us being all the way over in NZ!! Many thanks again,” Jennie and Ian Jennie arrived at Holcot Parish Church of St. Mary and All Saints, escorted by her father in Kiwi style in a pristine white VW Camper Van… ww ww After the service she and Ian travelled in the waiting Camper Van to their reception in a nearby private garden. ww ww ww The wonderful butterfly prints decorating the marquee lining are available from Crescent Moon… Chloe Coker made individual jams for the tables. ww The tiered cake was again created by Chloe Coker. A crate of flip flops was kindly made available for those whose killer heels had failed them… Outside night fell… …whilst inside the party was just beginning. ww
Miss Phoebe Houghton and Mr James Gibson – wedding photography at St Leonards-Mayfield School, Mayfield, East Sussex2012.07.04
“…thank you for the photos! We love them! We spent a good couple of hours as soon as we got the disc, watching a slide show of all the photos and we really re-lived the day! Lots of wonderful memories!” Phoebe ww More photographs from Phoebe and James’s wedding at St Leonard’s-Mayfield School, The Old Palace, Mayfield featuring flowers by The Flower House in Mayfield to follow… Miss Kim Bromley and Mr Oliver Cooper – wedding photography at St Mary’s Church, Dodford and and Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire2012.06.15
Kim prepared for her wedding at Hunt House Quarters at Kilsby, near Rugby in Warwickshire. She wore a classic strapless dress with lace and satin bodice, full skirt and lace trimmed train, and wore her hair up in a pretty chignon style. Her silver shoes were matched by a glamorous clutch bag. Of course everyone hopes for fine weather on their wedding day, but the ever present rain added a pearl like sheen to the paintwork of Kim’s midnight blue Mark II Jaguar… After a delightful service at St Mary’s Church, Dodford, Oliver wearing classic morning dress escorts his bride… …and was fully prepared for the day with quantities of white umbrellas. Flying their colours they set off together…. …arriving after a short drive at Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire where they were to hold their wedding reception. ww ww They chose the venue for its laid back relaxed country atmosphere, which suited their style. Here a balloon release is leant a quirky air by a curious juxtaposition. Some chaps struggled with their brollies in the breeze, whilst the more relaxed let the lady take the strain… Kim and Oliver employed delightful bunting made from old maps to decorate the venue, and a Robert Ryan papercut held centre stage. Amongst the guests were Mr and Mrs Andrew Barker whose Winter wedding at Kelmarsh Hall also features a cameo appearance from Oliver and Kim. ww ww ww After dinner our bride and groom danced to an eclectic soul funk set by The Lowriders. ww Meanwhile, a photobooth complete with dressing up box entertained the guests… …and in our opinion no party is complete without a glamorous pirate… …and plenty of dramatic dancing. Miss Caroline Dyson and Mr Toby Harvey – wedding photography at St Margaret The Queen, Buxted, and Buxted Park Hotel, Uckfield, East Sussex2012.01.20
“Thank you very much Nick for a very smooth and unobtrusive days photography,” Toby Caroline and Toby were married at St. Margaret The Queen Church, Buxted, East Sussex… …and afterwards walked the short distance… ww …to Buxted Park Hotel. ww ww ww ww ww Lemon yellow provided the basis for the day’s colour theme. ww ww ww ww ww ww ww ww Miss Emily Healey and Dom – wedding photography at St Mary’s Church, Ticehurst, and a secret walled garden in East Sussex2011.12.07
“The photos are amazing, you really captured the essence of the day and what Dom and I had been working so hard to achieve. Every time I look at the photos I see something new and all the wonderful memories of the day come flooding back.” Emily A ‘save the date’ card hinted at the principle themes of Emily and Dom’s wedding… ww Emily got ready at home and left for church with her family and bridesmaids in an open top motorcar. The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church, Ticehurst where a flower arbor hinted at what was to come. Of course, the Ticehurst paparazzi were out in force… …to greet Emily and Dom as they left the church. Tractors and trailers pulled into the village square and ferried the guests to the secret reception venue. The guests were dropped off in the middle of a field, where homemade signs pointed the way. Set into a stone wall, an iron gate woven with flowers opened… …to reveal the most fabulous marquee in the midst of a wild flower meadow. The marquee had once been a famous musical impresario’s polo tent, but it had surely found its natural home in the secret walled garden. ww Inside the marquee hop bines climbed up the supporting poles. Bunches of country flowers, fruit, nuts and bottles of Fleurie dressed the tables. Dom and Emily had spent many hours sourcing their collection of mis-matched chairs from local auction houses… …and they sowed a special seed mix to ensure the tapestry of flowers would be at its peak for the wedding, whatever the weather conditions in the preceding months. Climbing through the tapestry single poppies and sunflowers created accents of colour, and hiding ground for the younger guests. ww An iron tree seat surrounded the trunk of a hawthorn laden with haws. Organ pipes were reused to support a parachute canopy over the dance floor, and paper lanterns surrounded the marquee. At dusk electric fairy lights, and paper lanterns began to glow. ww ww The speeches were carried out in a candle-lit scene somewhat reminiscent of Renoir’s Moulin de la Galette… …and the party, drinking and dancing carried on late into the night under the illuminated trees. Miss Hannah Rowton and Mark Fairbairn – wedding photography at Yardley Hastings, Northamptonshire and Lavendon, Olney, Buckinghamshire2011.06.14
“Thank you so much for the beautiful book, we spent much of the weekend showing it to friends and family and love, love, love it!
